The Protectors of Eternia
The Guardians are the protectors of Eternia, and keepers of the Grove. They were created by Eternia during the birth of the world.
They are powerful beings of grand power who often reside in their lofty positions. Each controls a different aspect of nature, and together they work in harmony to protect and foster the life of Eternia, and maintain the balance which the world rests in. It is through these shifting powers that many of the world's events, natural occurences, and other happenings take place.
These beings are widely known across the world of Eternia; some may even choose to place their beliefs into these figures, seeking guidance from their elements and natures.
The Guardians:
- Alfvénia - The Guardian of the Starry Past, who represents the vast celestial bodies, the moon, and maintains the archives of Eternia, where she documents all that has been.
- Icarus - The Guardian of the Raging Flames, who represents power in its many forms. He may move the sun across the sky, battle back against the raging flames, and is a powerful force of passion.
- Korff - The Guardian of Safe Passage, Korff looks after the dearly departed of the world. While not a patron of death, they are often associated with its concept.
- Aret Tethys - The Guardian of the Rushing Waters, Aret Tethys represents the fluid, rushing, calm, small and large waters of the world. From the tallest wave to the smallest droplet, she emboldens the depths.
- Earth - The Guardian of the Unshaken Stone, they represent tradition and unwavering determination. Characterised by a strong willpower and a firm voice.
